I could be wrong. Logically, however, it makes NO SENSE that there be a druid class in Tyria. Druids (at least the ones in Maguuma jungle) have now become "one with the world" and actually looks like big semi-transparent tree-walkers.

There are several missions / quests in the Maguuma jungle area that actually dealt with this, specifically the "capture the flag" style mission that teleport you to the Henge as well as another bonus mission where I think you wake up the elder druid.

So -- given that the PCs will remain human, I don't see the new class will be a druid.

He did say they were looking at the thread but I wonder if they took any of our ideas. If they take just one of my ideas I will be super happy.

However there is still time to put in ideas for the Assassin so if anyone has any ideas post them there. ^_^

Actually, Anet nerfed iway to make it better, if you look at the updates-forgot which month it was. They did this cause people were complaining that they couldnt get into groups because they didnt have ts or vent, or weren't r3 (kinda backfired cause now people are only asking for r3+ iway, thats crazy). iway wasn't meant to hold halls or win, was just meant for fame farming to help boost up rank and give the players who don't have ts or vne t a group.

IWAY *was* overpowered. Then they capped attack speed at +33% and now it's just free fame. Stop whining please just kill the noobs.

I say IWAY should be left as it is, any good group can beat it, and it has no holding power, so the way I see it is it's just a filter for keeping lowly groups out of HoH.

So, you don't think not-very-good IWAY groups being able to make it to the HoH is a problem to begin with? I actually agree with most of the people here, that IWAY isn't a problem on the scale of say, the old spirit spam builds, but it is very annoying. Both in the fact that that's what 80% of American pugs are right now and the fact that even with a very good balanced group, you can get beat by a bunch of IWAY nobodies if someone does the wrong thing at the wrong time, or sometimes just plain bad luck.

I should have said "I believe" in those. The fact that we will have new races in Guild Wars is a given. I believe that we will continue to play as members of the human race in the next chapter. But hey, I could be wrong. The design team is just two offices away, but they cook up changes and new ideas all the time, and to be honest, I haven't asked about the races choice in a long while. So, grain of salt, anyone?

As to elves, or pixies, or druids, or any other race of character type -- we're always open to suggestions and almost never say never.

its a bigger problem then the old air spike or spirit spam FOTM builds because it discourages the average tombs player from playing a build that requires skill and at the same time alienates skilled players and teams who either are bored of playing aginst iway every match or cannot find a decent ballanced group.

I disagree, spirit spam was the worst possible thing for the tombs. It got to the point where you couldn't possibly hope to go far unless you were also running spirit spam, and spirit spam teams were not fun in the least.

Hey Gaile .. I have a great idead for the upcoming chapter ...

What about having the leader in gvg have a horse with a flag in his hand , and when people of the guild stay next to him in guild battles .. the moral is boosted by 5%. And of course it the guilds choice of they will have a leader on horse or not .. since he cant attack and just give enchantments.

Let them do something usefull first like fixing the bug of Final Blow.
Or the one at the Thunderhead keep when the King gets SA from OUTSIDE the fort. Or Reduce IWAY healthregen. So Balance can become normal again.
Than they can fuss around doing CTRL C from Diablo and World Of Warcraft.

No offence at all. Im just majorly argo by the fact that these bugs still screw the game. Reporting has no use... Auto reply FTW.................

I have to be honest, I have done a few IWAY (and I have won HoH with it too so dont say its impossible ). I do try balanced, but only when guildies or friends do them with me because PUGs are too stupid(most of the time).
Well the other day we played a team who used wards and soothing images. We dealt almost no damage, and on top of that they used Spiteful and Empathy. Pretty easy to counter I have to say. We were owned in 5 minutes .

And IMO, races should have different stats. Not many, but small differences. For example, humans are all around normal. But maybe Dwarves could add 5% more damage to their physical damage attacks and maybe even have 5 more armor. Of course, to balance they move 5-10% slower. Just an idea.

Sure IWAY is beatable. But it's also really easy to run it and be moderately successful. If it gets nerfed, it won't be because it's unbeatable; it'll happen to encourage builds that require more skill to play.
